Zuvaa is an online store for African Inspired Fashion. It was founded out of the need to sell African inspired Fashion at an affordable price. and to show people a new side of Africa, one that they have never seen before. Through fashion we hopes that people will have a better understanding of African culture. The mission with Zuvaa is to create an online community for African Fashion, that showcases the beauty and vibrancy of the continent while still providing pieces that people can feel are unique and have meaning. Zuvaa will be more then an ecommerce site. It will be a site that uses the art of storytelling to engage and retain customers. Storytelling is powerful means of communication in African communities and we plan to weave this art into the overall online experience when shopping on Zuvaa. Part of the experience will also come from better understanding the culture of Africa, through learning about the fabrics of Africa and stories behind them.
