VelociFile is a file sharing and syncing application and hybrid cloud service akin to DropBox, but with far more to offer. By offering core product extensions such as WAN optimized file transfer, video streaming & transcoding, ftp pickup and delivery, industry specific collaboration tools, image processing and integration, document management, metadata support and workflow management all done as a cloud hybrid model we can access more than just the TAM for FSS. VelociFile is born out of an Enterprise MAM (Media Asset Management) system that I created when I founded and worked at WheresMyMedia and a pet project prototype for a WAN Optimized file transfer application code named VelociFile. Through an amicable and recent separation of myself from what was WheresMyMedia I acquired the business name, trademark, domain name, client lists and intellectual property. I am looking to relaunch WheresMyMedia with VelociFile as its star product by building it off the existing MAM platform.
