Village Green is a web application for entrepreneurs to get their needs met through sharing. The application enables entrepreneurs and innovators to post what needs they have, and what resources they have to share, so as to help all innovators use sharing as means to grow their ventures. The platform is a needs exchange for the sharing economy. Although there are many different platforms for users to share one specific commodity or service, such as one's apartment through AirBnB, or one's skills through Skillshare, or one's car through RelayRides, there is no single platform where entrepreneurs can share anything, nor is there a platform designed that is catered towards building capacity in the global enterprise ecosystem. Village Green was and is created to address this gap in the market, to respond to the growth of the startup ecosystem in developing markets, and to bridge the various startup ecosystem from Silicon Valley and Silicon Alley, with startup communities worldwide.
