We are building the ultimate trading game where traders buy and sell positions in "coupons" -- defined as retail promotional or giveaway offers -- in a highly entertaining trading market. Tradefor will be the first end-to-end market mechanism for the exchange of "forward contracts" to purchase products. Promotional coupons will be bought and sold with "Bits" (the game's virtual currency) pegged to the bid price of Bitcoin on a major exchange. Bits will be a proprietary in-game currency (not a crypto-currency) so there will be no liquidity for Bits outside of the game. Tradefor will not be a money transmitter. Instead, it will leverage the inherent volatility of Bitcoin and use volatility to enhance game action. Tradefor will create a low-cost marketing channel for distributing product incentives and will likely be the first game to "realify" a massive, multi-player game on the Internet.
