Our research indicates that most creatives seeking opportunities are looking for two things to help them realize their ideas: time and money. In order to find this time and money they need: (I) More time and money to (a) do the research required and (b) write proposals and apply. (II) The necessary skills to organize and manage the practical aspects of networking, time management, grant writing, and so forth. (III) A community of peers and colleagues for critical discussion and support. We subtly teach artists how to manage the often tedious aspects of research and proposal preparation by integrating tools like customizable saved searches, calendar integration with deadline reminders, and writing tips that can all be pushed to their mobile devices.
