Terraly is a mobile application that raises money for clean water around the world by connecting alcohol brands with consumers. Terraly makes a connection between having a drink (beer, wine and cocktails) and raising money for clean water. Using Terraly’s mobile app, a user makes a virtual toast. The toast includes information on the user’s location (e.g., at home, a bar or restaurant, or a specific event) and drink. For example, when a Terraly user makes a toast (e.g., Happy Birthday, Mo!) and indicates that he or she is at Amsterdam Tavern drinking a Blue Point Toasted Lager, Terraly donates money to a clean water charity. Funds for donations come from the revenue generated by providing alcohol producers with consumption data, and real time, on-premise consumer engagement opportunities.
