TaxiShair connects air travelers cabbing to common destinations by geolocating users in real time, by terminal and neighborhood via chat functionality. Problem: Cabbing home from the airport is quick and easy, but expensive. Public transport is cheap, but often slow and inconvenient. Solution: We facilitate taxi “shairing” in real time via smartphones (iPhone and Android) for the 53 million people flying annually into NYC area airports.
