About
Table Talk is a online collaborative reading and annotation platform. It allows people to upload their favorite books, essays, and articles and invite their friends and coworkers to read and annotate them together. In an intuitive and simple online reader, users will be able to comment on specific selections of text and also see and respond to their peers' comments. Conversations will be arise out of the text itself, instead a disorganized jumble at the very bottom of the page. Table Talk helps communities and groups understand the texts they are reading better. It helps promote a a collaborative dialogue over text that has up to this point only been possible in classrooms and bookclubs. The first market for Table Talk are the 2,680 colleges and universities in the U.S. that up until now use online discussion platforms like Moodle which are disconnected from the text. After the academic market, businesses and law-firms which need to read texts together will be our next customers.
