Our product is to make all videos over 20 minutes watchable in less than 5 minutes. Sport Mantel is a crowd-sourced video logging system. We built an intuitive, simple annotation tool that allows verified users to note important moments as they watch a video. It's as easy as writing a text message. Viewers can jump ahead in the video to highlighted moments using animated cue points in the timeline or watch the full video with insights synced to the event. It's like watching a program on your DVR and fast-forwarding through the boring content but hitting play to watch the best parts. We are using this data set of "important moments" to build a machine-learning, automated system that can pick out key moments in all similar long videos. The customers are people who watch videos online and want to save time and content producers. Sport Mantel let's you search and skip ahead to just to moments you care about. Our goal is to catalogue and understand just what is important in videos.
