SophSpeak

We're building a communications platform called SophSpeak to engage with people outside your existing networks and to spark meaningful conversations with strangers.  For example, a DC resident wants an on-the-ground opinion in Ferguson or a high school student in China wants to talk to an NYU student. Knowledge and stories are best passed from person to person, so we're moving away from the static nature of Quora and Wikipedia. Our initial landing page is available at www.sophspeak.com, though we're looking for an experienced programmer/developer to help build out this platform.
