Our first product, the SolarPuff is unique in that it marries design and sustainability to bring "fashion" to "green". We incorporate the principles of adaptable architecture and unique renewable materials to produce solar lighting that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional. A Japanese home decor distributor approached Solight because of the SolarPuff's origami like structure and use of atttractive materials. As of 9/2014, they will be distributing the SolarPuff to outdoor enthusiasts and home decor markets in Japan.Similarly, in the U.S, the SolarPuff will target the home decor and outdoor enthusiast markets. All though this product was originally designed for disaster relief, the unique design is actually proving to be a distinct advantage in terms of commercial appeal.This will aid our social mission: Consumers will have opportunity to buy one for themselves and for a bundled price, donate one to someone in need of light in Haiti and other areas off the grid.
