Shout is a place where any passionate individual or community can create their own marketplace. Each marketplace, or “Stream” as we refer to them, is led by a moderator. And the moderators of each stream will receive a percentage of the transactions in their Stream. Imagine eBay meets Reddit. Streams can take any form. They can be location based (e.g., New York City, Columbia University) or they can be nationwide. They can be marketplaces that interest-based (e.g., Sneakers, Musical Instruments, Pokemon). Or they can be ephemeral (e.g., Burning Man, NYC Fashion Week).
