Shiva Mensch is an online platform designed to provide immediate notification and continued Shiva and funereal coordination to the families of recently deceased Jews from elder planning through bereavement and healing. Members upload contact information and decide on arrangements from meals to memorials. Using our app or web portal the subscriber can send an alert to any contact containing information from shiva plans, to the need for minion, to a last-minute time change. Communication occurs in real-time and those alerted via text, email, or phone can send replies, note availability, offer to cater a meal as designated by the bereaved, or send thoughtful gifts of condolence, all through the application. Synagogues and rabbis will have designated access to congregant data, eliminating the time and expense of designating an employee to handle arrangements. Whatever preferences or beliefs the client ascribes to, Shiva Mensch is adaptable and personable.
