Seth Kornegay is the only African-American independent perfumer in the U.S. Product is only available through www.sethkornegay.com and the focus is solely on upscale clientele. Sales have been strong in Europe and Asia initially. The luxury fragrances start at $285 per ounce and only are available in small, hand-numbered quantities. They are created using the finest pure natural ingredients from around the world - absolutely no synthetics. Three of their more popular fragrances include “Orla” – created for First Lady Michelle Obama; "Petra" - a unisex perfume made from Islay single malt scotch whiskey from the southernmost portion of the Inner Hebridean Islands located off the west coast of Scotland; and "Undenied" - created to honor each brave woman who fights breast cancer daily (25% of the proceeds from the sale of Undenied go to various breast cancer awareness organizations). In 2014, unique home fragrance product lines will be added - available only online.
