By guaranteeing savings, Sealed removes customers' savings risk, the biggest thing preventing homeowners from making efficiency improvements. The guarantee is offered via sales software that integrates hundreds of home data points and Sealed's proprietary analytics to calculate the savings Sealed is able to guarantee and the proposed project details. Sealed customers then receive their energy bill via Sealed's energy billing software each month, with Sealed paying their actual utility bills. Customers are homeowners with high bills and inefficient homes. The initial target market is single-family homes in Long Island that have heat their home with fuel oil and/or have significant comfort issues.
