SaleMove brings the “consultative sale” to online commerce using video/audio chat and shared browsing. Complex or high-ticket products such as cars, real estate, life insurance and high-end jewelry don’t really “fit” into a shopping cart. Business selling these types of products can use SaleMove to interact with their online customers in real-time through voice, video and collaborative browsing. Kristen, a salesperson for an online jeweler DiamondsForever, logs-on to SaleMove and sees all the visitors that are currently active on the DF website. She clicks on Visitor #27 and watches as the potential customer customizes an engagement ring. Kristen sends a custom incoming call to the visitor highlighting a special deal on this particular ring. Visitor #27 accepts and without downloading any software, start a video chat with Kristen. They each have a cursor so the visitor points to a detail he likes on the band and Kristen helps him put the finishing touches on the customization.
