RYSE is an online community for professionals of color (Latino, African American, etc.). LinkedIn targeted at multicultural professionals. RYSE is open to all people, but its core function is to connect, empower & celebrate users whom share the same interest, issues & concerns. You may ask why is there a need for such a targeted platform? The reality is that diverse ethnicities share many similarities, but also share many differences; different interest, concerns, experiences, perspectives & therefore many times have different needs. It is not about separation or exclusion, but simply about filling the specific needs of minorities. Our goal is not to try & be all things to all people. Our strength is in carving out a niche & providing them with valuable content & resources that speaks to their specific needs, wants & issues, as well as an outlet to celebrate their success. Radio & Television have different channels & stations, it’s time social media offered a different channel. RYSE
