Rentricity’s In-Pipe Hydro systems uniquely capture and convert untapped excess pressure in city drinking water pipelines into electricity. Each Rentricity system continuously produces between 5-350 kilowatts (kW) of clean and reliable energy. The system is installed in parallel with existing pressure reduction valves to recover energy that these valves would otherwise waste.
