RaceYa is a STEAM-powered company, offering curious children the chance to build, race and hack radio-controlled cars (and learn about science, technology, engineering, arts and math without even realizing it). RaceYa combines the DIY ethos of a Maker Faire with the in-store experience of an American Girl Doll. Aimed at 8 to 12 year old kids in urban settings, RaceYa is design conscious, gender neutral and filled with possibilities. Not only can kids customize and upgrade their cars, but they can compete with their friends in-store and online giving RaceYa the potential for global expansion.
