Photodrop

Photodrop is the easiest way to create collaborative photo galleries after get-togethers that include trips, parties, weddings, BBQs, camping, etc. During a surf trip to Puerto Rico with 5 friends, one of the Photodrop founders was extremely frustrated by the inability to get photos from his buddies. "How about Dropbox?", he asked. Only 2 friends had it, and both refused to mix personal stuff in their work accounts. "Facebook?" A resounding, "No way!, I'm not putting these up there." "How about Email, SMS, Shutterfly, etc.?" "Too heavy.", "Are you nuts?!?", and "What a pain in the Ass.". Photodrop's differentiator is in it's ability to "get photos from others". In the end, it's one thing to hand-select photos to put on Instagram, but it's exciting when you can see an event from someone else's perspective and recall it together (and get some killer photos from yourself surfing, planking, sipping a milkshake, etc. in the process).
