Perooz

Perooz is a platform that adds a layer of annotations and commentary to users' daily web browsing. Rather than relying on a simple news source, users will be able to gain insight from on-the-ground journalists and experts in specific fields. These experts, in turn, will be able to add quick annotations or provide links to relevant articles. Perooz also incorporates an increasingly popular system of micro-transactions using cryptocurrency (e.g. dogetipbot on Reddit or Twitch, Fanfunds on Youtube, etc.) Users will be able to tip experts for their insightful comments, while experts receive compensation and increased interaction with their readership. In its beta phase, Perooz will exist as a chrome extension and a standalone website - soon to be followed by a mobile application.
