Texting has become the primary and preferred channel for almost everything and good texting has become crucial for dating. After you receive someones phone number, the texts you send are the primary factor in succeeding or failing with that individual. Often times when a young man or woman is talking to someone special, new or old, they find themselves asking their friends, "what do I text him/her?" Miimic wants to solve this problem through a collaborative messaging platform that lets your friends text for you. Miimic lets you share an SMS conversation with another user and let's that user respond on your behalf while giving you the ability to approve or reject the response. The recipient of the text remains unaware of Miimic's role in the conversation. Miimic's goal is to connect people to experts in specific domains, i.e. dating, negotiations, sensitive situations, etc., who are not in their network of friends to be able to communicate for them.
