Matchmaker Cafe sets Real dates at Real cafes. We’re a mobile-first platform. Our aim is to disrupt the dating space by making it as easy to get a date as it is to order a car on Uber. Founder Nancy Slotnick is an industry veteran, and she has set up over 50,000 dates in her career. We are focused on millenials because traditional brands in the space (i.e. Match, EHarmony) don't have good brand equity with them. Mobile-first is already disrupting the space, but no dating company has automated the process of setting up the dates in the real world. Matchmaker Cafe has invented technology for the scheduling of dates which sends them to local cafes for a 20 minute experience. We charge a service fee once the date is confirmed. Our research has proven the concept of the pay-per-date model. We also have a reality TV series in development about our company, being represented by William Morris Endeavor.
