Loclede (LOcal, CLEarance, DEals) allows consumers to share the very best offline shopping deals with their community. If you can snap a photo you can use Loclede. We've all been walking though a retailer - Target, Kohl's, Best Buy - and stumbled upon the clearance end caps. These are the absolute best deals in the store as retailers often cut prices by 80-90% but they are completely unadvertised. Users will sign up to receive notification of deals within any of their 5 targeted zip codes. When a deal is submitted by a user it will be geotagged by zip code and served to people that have asked for deals in that zip code. I'd like to add a foursquare style gamification tool that would reward those users that submit the best deals most frequently. They could earn gift cards at the retailer they submit deals from most often. This app will prove particularly addictive because the deals will constantly be updated throughout the day as people shop.
