lightbox is an interactive digital arts and events space, designed to provide a new media platform for interactivity design and experience. Based in New York City at the center of emerging arts, design and technology, lightbox creates an experience for progressive arts and today’s digital generation to collide in a singular space. Today, the cost of real estate in Manhattan is increasingly prohibitive for the next generation of artists. To counteract this, lightbox has created a clean open space that would not only foster new talent in NYC but finance it sustainably. The end result is a digital arts and events space with a powerful mix of art, digital technology and social media – setting a new standard for sustainable, interactive collaboration.
