Kaizen Capital Advisors, LLC, (“KCA”), is a holding company offering 5,000 member units at $10,000 per unit (minimum investment of $500,000), under Regulation D, Section 506, to raise $50 million for a fund, GVP, with a 12-year tenure. Funds will be invested in entities currently or potentially associated with “branded chefs,” culinary professionals with a regional or national reputation and past performance in generating revenues resistant to economic cycles. The fund’s active management approach applies structures, designs, and methods proven to boost restaurant and enterprise profitability, and to position the investee within 3 years to execute a management buyout of the fund’s position for strong fund IRR. Half of fund proceeds will be returned to investors for interim liquidity. The other half will be reinvested to increase overall fund IRR. A portion of funds raised will be held in Fixed income paper with yields of which protect 90% of investors’ principal.
