While each user can create and maintain as many of their own personal blogs as they'd like using HIVE, they are also part of a collaborative publication that is HIVE as a whole. Write for yourself, or write for a friend, and read the thousands of posts across the rest of the HIVE site. Alongside creativity and expression, users are also introduced to a tool for generating revenue. All posts will have subtle advertising, generated by HIVE, and users will receive 70% of the revenue earned on each of their individual posts. The type of ads will be selected by users individually, based on what they choose, or their content. As well, HIVE provides Press Kits: Deals and offers provided by advertisers if users write about or include content relating to said advertisers' products and services.
