Hailoo (Arabic "حلو" meaning "sweet”) is an Arabic language search engine and media platform for the Middle East & North Africa. With over 400 million Arabic speakers and a skyrocketing growth rate of Internet/mobile usage in the region, there is an enormous demand for quality, relevant and up-to-date Arabic content - yet no large-scale, local solution exists. Meanwhile, China, Russia, South Korea and the Czech Republic all have regional search engines that dominate their markets. Based in New York, Hailoo makes Arabic content accessible to the millions of new Arabic Internet users coming online for the first time. Hailoo's platform currently consists of two services: Hailoo Search Beta, our flagship service, and Hailoo Sport, which offers soccer news, media, live scores, and stats. Hailoo attracts thousands of visits per day from the Middle East and North Africa. Our platform is expanding to include local news, email and social networking tools.
