GoBoiano is an anime lifestyle brand that connects the global anime community through a vertical interest-based social network and integrated services. GoBoiano Media (http://media.goboiano.com/) launched July 16th as a working prototype and currently has over 400,000 monthly readers, 1 million monthly page views and an average growth of 37% per month. Media creates engaging anime content around lifestyle news, contributor columns, and Buzzfeed-esque lists. GoBoiano Social (http://goboiano.com/signup) went into closed beta December 15th with 10,000 early users from the community as well as 110 high profile creators each with up to 700,000 fans generating millions of anime-related content on the web. We're also rolling out a beta invite partnership with anime conventions (2 to 3 day 200k+ attendee trade shows) across the nation with an eye towards international conventions early 2016.
