Domino.fm is a Spotify-exclusive third-party app that works like Flipboard for music websites and music players, where a music fan can personalize his/her own digital music magazine and play any album or track mentioned on music websites. Ideally, the plan is to convert a chunk of Spotify 30 million free users into paid users through curated music discovery and give blog readers the app they've been waiting for. All publishers will collect revenue from the ad-supported free version of the app. It's a music discovery app that's designed to extend the experience of Spotify (and Soundcloud, YouTube & Bandcamp) through a rich network of comprehensive real-time content all in one window.
