Develop Link provides tools to help medical aid efforts collaborate with local healthcare infrastructure in developing countries. We are piloting with a capacity planning tool so that resources allocated towards global health are appropriately distributed. This tool largely consists of a directory with information on where there are needs and specific information on the types of treatments (specialties, number of patients who can be treated etc.) offered by different providers' (ranging from public hospitals to large NGOs to small church groups). This information currently does not exist but is needed by a range of parties. We hope to expand to include tools to drive referrals and track critical global health information including infectious diseases. This data will be critical to not only improving quality of care in developing countries but also for life science companies expanding into developing markets and a range of large health organizations such as USAID's healthcare arm.
