DateMySchool is a reverse social network & dating site for students and alumni: users and their social connections are identified and only unknown, trusted people are shown. That is, we "erase" users' established social connections, instead of showing them unlike a social network would do. Key value proposition: 1. Safety: Every student and alum is verified. 2. Privacy: Users only see and are seen by people they don't know but trust. 3. Efficiency: Trust, safety, privacy leads to setting up dates faster than any other site. DateMySchool has become the largest US college networking/dating site with 200,000+ users. At Columbia University 40% of students signed up as of today, 20-40% at NYU, MIT, Harvard, etc. Users from ~2,000 universities across the US. Users spend same amount of time on DateMySchool as on Facebook, ~2/3 are active, i.e. DMS looks more like a social network in terms of user activity than a “traditional” dating site.
