CRDT is a mobile app and API that lets users assign levels of attribution to content using social tagging. Instead of users sharing content and tagging others using "With", CRDT separates out the creator of each work from people who are featured or associated with a sophisticated tagging tool. Tags include: BY:, OF:, WITH: and CRDT: (a broad tag that drops down and lets users assign multiple tags.) The CRDT API stores info as a rights database, helping identify content ownership, identify content trends and aid in anti-piracy. CRDT will be available as free and Pro versions. Free is for everyday users that want to assign credit to photos, videos or audio files they create and share. Pro is for rights management, licensing and transactions. The Pro version enables users to assign private details including content ownership roles, percentages and contact. Users can assign one or many contacts as Approvers for licensing and commerce inquiries that can be answered in one click.
