CoursePalette is a web-application built to fulfill 2 key college student needs: planning course schedules and purchasing textbooks. Every year, twice a year, college students have to sit down and plan their schedule for the upcoming semester. Some students have a million requirements they have to satisfy and already have a good idea what they're schedule will be. Other students couldn't have more free electives and get to pick and choose. But all students need to go through the process one way or another. After they've picked a full-schedule of classes from the course catalog, they set up a meeting with their adviser to review, and they sign-up. A couple months go by the new semester is right around the corner. Now they need textbooks. The students all flock to the bookstores website to find their list of textbooks, and either buy from the bookstore at over-the-top prices, or go to other sources like amazon.com, or classmates. CoursePalette is way better.
