Based in New York City and founded in early 2014, Cien Ventures is a venture studio for ideating, seed-funding and building innovative healthcare technology and services companies. We are uniquely positioned alongside our parent company, Oxeon Partners (http://www.oxeonpartners.com), a hybrid executive search and investment firm and an established leader in the growth-stage healthcare technology and services community. The Cien team leverages this joint network of the nation’s leading healthcare executives to source innovative ideas, hone them into compelling business models, establish anchor partnerships and early client pipelines, build stellar executive teams and Boards, and lead Series A capital raises. Our portfolio is comprised predominantly of de novo startups, though we will also invest in the seed rounds of existing startups where partnering with their team will dramatically accelerate the business.
