Bubble is visual programming tool. It enables non-technical people to build production-ready web and mobile apps without code. Our users have built crowdfunding platforms, marketplaces, etc. We've been having startups (funded or boostrapped) running on us since December 2012 (you can see them at bubble.is/apps). The value is that you can keep full control on your product, keep modifying it afterwards, without a tech partner (actually, we are the tech partner). When a feature is missing, we add it. It's much cheaper as you design your app and only pay for new needed features. We host everything, so it's a long term relationship, where our incentives are extremely aligned. We both want your app to work well, fast, and get traction. We use node.js, coffeescript, jquery, Firebase, but the whole point of Bubble is that you shouldn't have to worry about this. Your job is the user experience and the functionality/design, we make sure everything scales and works technically.
