BLOCKSTR is a service that allows users to upload content onto a mobile platform that specializes in the genre of electronic dance music (EDM). Unlike Instagram or Mindie, BLOCKSTR is the first social media app to integrate a common forum for users to create short videos featuring EDM. Currently, a social platform doesn't exist that showcases dance music in this way. On all the other social media apps, dedicated artists and fans sift through endless content, searching for anything related to their taste. This particular genre has truly become a lifestyle for these consumers and there is a demand for them to be able to search out and share content with one another as quickly and easily as possible.
