Our mission at AfriVax is to challenge the state of global health by accelerating the translation of biomedical discoveries from the lab to the marketplace using novel production platforms. We do this by using bioinformatics, genetic engineering, robotics and modular manufacturing systems. Afrivax addresses a critical need: biotechnology is out of reach for millions, because manufacturing biological products is still very expensive. We can quickly scale vaccines, biosimilars, diagnostics, therapeutics and other products with higher yield and biosafety, while keeping costs low. We are a member of Harlem Biospace and our current investors are Cube Strategic Advisory Partners, LLP (a UK-based investment group), as well as friends and family.
